Addendum: bookkeeping and accounting data — JaKonto
1. Purpose and precedence
This addendum applies to JaKonto and supplements the terms of service and the data processing agreement. In case of conflict the addendum prevails over the terms.
2. A tool, not an auditor
JaKonto is a tool that shows, combines and automates data from your accounting system. We are not an auditor or bookkeeper, and we do not approve your accounts, VAT returns or filings. You are responsible for your bookkeeping under the Danish Bookkeeping Act (bogføringsloven), for filings with the authorities and for checking the figures and suggestions JaKonto shows before you use them.
3. Your accounting system
JaKonto is not a bookkeeping system under the Danish Bookkeeping Act and does not replace the accounting system you use to record and keep accounting records. When you connect an accounting system, you give JaKonto access according to your instructions and the system's own terms. Changes you have JaKonto make in your accounting system are your actions. We are not liable for errors in data from the accounting system, for the system's downtime or for changes in its API.
4. Automations and API
Automations, webhooks and API calls are carried out as you have set them up. You are responsible for the addresses you send data to and for testing the set-up before you use it for bookkeeping.
